How do I register for the conference?
- From the About or Schedule tab, click Reserve Tickets
- Select your tickets and complete the registration form
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
- If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us in writing at
- Refunds will be issued according to this schedule:
45 days before the event: 50% refund, minus $30 administrative fee
14 days or fewer: No refunds (you may elect to transfer your ticket to another attendee)
- In the event that the conference must be cancelled or postponed, all registrants will be notified promptly and offered the option to transfer their registration to the next conference or receive a full refund.
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
- Yes, you can do this from the ticket management link in the email you receive after checkout
- You can assign/re-assign tickets as needed
Conference Logistics
Where and when does the event take place?
- Shoes and Clothes for Kids (SC4K)
15500 South Waterloo Rd, Cleveland, OH 44110
All conference sessions will be held at SC4K - Two full days + a half day:
Tuesday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Wednesday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Thursday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM - There will be off-site affinity dinners at local restaurants on Tuesday or Wednesday evening. These are optional with a limited number of slots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Stay tuned for details.

Will there be a conference app or schedule I can download?
- Yes! Your experience will be better from the app. Click to download for your device:

Is there a recommended dress code?
- Business casual is recommended
- Feel free to sport your center's swag, too!
Are meals or refreshments included with my ticket?
- Lunch, snacks, & beverages will be provided on Tuesday & Wednesday during the conference. A boxed to-go lunch will be available on Thursday.
- Appetizers & beverages will be provided at the reception on Tuesday/Wednesday evening.
- If you are staying at Tru by Hilton, a substantial, complimentary breakfast is included in your hotel rate.
- Dinner is at your own expense on all evenings.
How long are the speaking slots and what format is expected?
- There is 1 large group session per day for all attendees
- There are 22 breakout sessions over the 3 days with tracks for:

Leadership
Programs
Operations
Marketing & Communications
Cross-Track
Travel & Accommodations
Are there special hotel rates for attendees?
- Yes! A limited number of rooms have been blocked at Tru by Hilton in Midtown Cleveland
Rate: $119 for either 1 King or 2 Doubles
Complimentary breakfast is included
Use this NERC Conference Hotel link for the special rate - There’s a limited number of rooms available at the same rate on Monday if you are planning to arrive ahead of the conference.
Is parking available on-site?
- Yes! Free parking is available at SC4K for all conference sessions.
- Free parking is available at the hotel for guests staying at Tru by Hilton

Is the venue accessible to wheelchairs or those with mobility issues?
- Yes, all facilities are fully accessible
Can I request special dietary accommodations?
- Yes, there is a place for this on the registration form.

How do I schedule or sign up for specific sessions?
- After you purchase tickets and complete the registration form, you’ll be prompted to select sessions and create your schedule.
Will I have access to session recordings or presentation slides afterward?
- Any handouts will be available to session attendees. Attendees must be logged in to access and download materials.
- We are still working on an option for session recordings. We'll keep you posted.
